Easy to install. I really like the way it has a positive full wrap mounting, on the roll cage. Not like the spreader types. It's not perfect, but the mount type alone makes it much better than the rest. As it can be mounted above or below the roll bar. And further, it can be mounted above or below the bar brackets. To accommodate higher headroom, or better accessibility.The gun rests between semi hard rubber lined jaws. With a flexible stretch rubber, multiple choice holes type strap, that holds the jaws closed tight. The multi holes are for the different size, and configurations of different firearms. Or you could probably put a shovel in there, if you mounted the rack with that in mind.Pull the strap loose, the jaw opens, but not enough so the gun falls out. Do the other side. Then remove the gun. At no point does it drop free. It has to be lifted out. Very quiet, and could easily be done securely, and safety, with one hand.Well thought out, well packaged. Good instructions, but after you see what's going on there. You won't need to use them. It's that intuitive, and well designed. I weight around 250 lbs. And although I'd never stand on this mount, while installed. I'm certain that it'd easily hold the weight. It's well built. Comes withanti rattle bolts too.
