Bought this shower head after a diagnosis of NTM lung disease. I was amazed at how much water was pooled in my old shower head when I removed it. I love that there is no reservoir for water and bacterial growth in this shower head. I will say that if you have hand weakness it might be a bit difficult to open and close it. There is a latch and it takes some pressure to open and shut. I'm a 73 year old female and I've discovered that if I use the thumbs of both hands it's fairly easy. The shower head is heavy and well-made. Apart from the therapeutic aspects, I love the gentle spray of water it makes.
